My Teacher Avatar

In Digital Lit and Social Studies we tried our hand at creating avatars. We learnt of a teacher that uses the voki web-software to create an avatar and give instructions to students when she is away.

From my experience in FE1 I have seen students really enjoy creating avatars and editing them according to their feelings, seasons etc. It i also an interesting way to teach body image.

I choose my avatar to be an owl as they are thought of as wise which teachers are meant to be. They are also seen as quite observant learners like myself and a teacher should be observant. Plus they are nocturnal, much like me.
