This article takes about bringing inquiry based learning into math classes. Kinset and Moore feels we have created math classes to be a place where you are right or wrong and taken the fun out of doing math creating a generation that hate and fear math.
Kinset and Moore believe that we need to incorporate scientific method style of investigation into math classrooms to encourage inquiry and math conversations. They gave an classroom example where the teacher poses a question to the students and students use their own knowledge to come up with a prediction which they then would test and intestate. Kinset and Moore found that this bought about a lot of math conversations.
